If you looked only at the result, this could easily be a story about how I lost weight. Looking back, though, what I want to keep is how I spent six months finding problems, changing rules, and gradually making a rough weight-loss plan fit my own life.

I did not design this system on the day I started. I built it over six months, fixing one bug after another.

This is not a weight-loss prescription to copy. Chicken, sweet potatoes, and push-ups were parts of my particular version. What matters to me is how that version developed.

The problem and the idea

I repeatedly handle four kinds of work: refining prompts, examining arguments, checking facts, and auditing investment theses. Each time, I used to explain the task boundaries, evidence standards, and restrictions again. The prompts grew longer, yet behavior still drifted between conversations.

The idea I wanted to test was simple: could narrowly scoped custom agents, delivered with an installer, documentation, and regression checks, be more consistent and easier to maintain than a few saved prompts?

The problem and the idea

The checklist website already generated images quickly, with little effort or extra processing. But I still had to open its URL. It felt like a web tool rather than a small app I could reach for every day.

At this stage, the question was specific: if I installed the editor on my phone’s home screen and aligned its launch URL with the offline cache, could it run in a standalone window and keep doing its core job without a connection?
