First day in Shanghai

The soil and water support the people. This sentence only became so obvious to me after I arrived in Shanghai. The environment here gives me a sense of cleanliness and tidiness that only exists in Japan. This is not a random boast, it is just the result of my observation in the suburbs, city center and other places of Shanghai for half a day today. It is worth mentioning that this is not my first time in Shanghai. I came once at the beginning of last year, but that time I came in the dark. It’s all dark, and I don’t really care about anything. This time I came during the day, so I had more angles to observe and it was more comprehensive.

People are products of the environment, and the environment actually affects some people’s attitudes or concepts, so much so that it affects their behavior and changes their appearance to a certain extent. I think environment is important, especially for a person who has not developed enough complete values. Therefore, in our daily lives, people who do not have sufficient bandwidth are actually at a disadvantage. Because they are tired of making a living and neglect to think, they are forced to “move forward” amidst the ruthless coercion of society. They think they are making progress, but that’s all they feel. If the surrounding environment is an inspiring atmosphere, it will be a gesture of advancing all the way. Unfortunately, that is a minority situation; in most cases, the environment around most people is a relatively lazy state. As a result, many people were cruelly and unintentionally polluted…

What does a good environment look like? There should be a standard that most people agree with: as soon as you get there, your whole body will be filled with joy! Maybe this has something to do with people’s cultivation, but it is also more applicable to a young man who has just given birth to a calf. I feel this way as soon as I arrive in a big city, because the magnetic field of ability there excites me; I feel the same way when I encounter beautiful scenery, because the picturesque scenery also fills me with joy! So whether it is in the city or in the countryside, whether it is man-made or made by nature, the effect is actually the same. To me, such an environment is prosperous and a good environment.
